Covers
So, according to my two awesome PR agents, Stephen and Amy, doing covers is a cool thing. So… I’m trying to think of good covers to do. I love James Taylor, John Denver, my brother’s band – Six Days From Sunday, Colbie Callait (just because I can sing them and she’s awesome), Taylor Swift (only a select few), Nickel Creek (ever heard of them?), and of course, Stephen’s songs. I’m excited about learning some of his songs because they blow me away. Excitement is in the air! (It usually is with me) More updates on playing dates soon. Peace dudes.
In the beginning…
So, this might be the first time you’ve heard my name or music or both. That’s ok. I’m glad you’re here. You make me smile just by reading this. :) To you, this might be the beginning of me, but to me, this is only the beginning of another chapter of my life. Have I mentioned that I LOVE my life? Like, a lot. God has blessed me tremendously and without reason. As I speak, He is granting me my biggest wish: I want to sing. I don’t even care what else I do, as long as I can sing. He’s given me a heart for Him and a love of music, so I sing for Him. I sing because of Him. Doesn’t THAT make you smile? It does me.
